Jack Dunnett (b.1995, Scotland) is a contemporary painter whose work evokes introspective atmospheres and emotional undercurrents through layered, abstracted forms. A graduate of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Dunnett lives and works in Glasgow, where his studio practice reflects a deep engagement with memory, transformation, and the quiet tensions of everyday life. His paintings—at once meditative and expressive—have been exhibited extensively across the UK and internationally, including solo presentations at Arusha Gallery (Edinburgh) and South Block (Glasgow), as well as group exhibitions at the Royal Scottish Academy, Galerie ISA (Mumbai), Le Clézio Gallery (Paris), and Paul Smith Space (London). Blurring the line between figuration and abstraction, Dunnett’s work draws viewers into subtle narratives that unfold through gesture, rhythm, and restraint.
